    Graphing and Domain for Logarithms

    the question is H(x)=-ln(x+2)

I have tried to solve it several ways but i am not sure if i am going in the right direction. I believe i have the domain and asymptote correct but i am unsure about how to get the equation to graph it. I have attached my work.

Re: Graphing and Domain for Logarithms

You have it right about the asymptote and limits although I'm not sure why you solved for x there. If you know the graph of y=ln(x) you can start from there. The - means a flip over and it has a translation of -2 on the x-axis. You can see the attachment for the answer. Excuse my paint skills

The left column you forgot to put the minus in the exponent
