    Simplifying

    Simplify the following \frac{ 2^-3(y-2)^5(y^2z)^3}{(25z^4)^{1/2}x^{-3}(y-2)^3}. Any help would be much appreciated!

    Re: Simplifying

    Who ever gave you this problem clearly expects you to know the "laws of exponents" (also called "index laws").

    a^xa^y= a^{x+y}
    \frac{a^x}{a^y}= a^{x- y}
    (a^x)^y= a^{xy}

    Use those to combine powers of the same base.
