Thread: Matrix (augmented matrix to echelon form)

I have been working with this question for so long, and still I couldn't reach the echelon form.. Can anyone help pls?

Question: using elementary row operations, reduce the matrix A to echelon form.

Just proceed with following row transformations:
R2 - 2R1 and R3-3R1
Interchange R2 and R3
R1-R3
R3-R1
And you will get the result.

Can u show me your final result? I could not get the answer even though I followed your instructions.. thanks

oh nevermind, i found out the answer already... Your steps probably have mistakes in them...thanks anyway
