Help with Logs question?
5^x =2^(2+2x)
Can you please do a step by step explanation?
the answer i got is 2.32 but that is wrong.
I understand that you want to solve this exp equation...
ok first simplify the right side2^(2x+2) will become 2^(2x)*4 or 4*4^x
now divide both by 4^x to obtain (5/4)^x=4
get the logarithms of both sides and solve for x it is easy... x=(log4)/(l0g5-log4) = 6.21
