Algebra-similar triangles-year11

Hey fellas,

I am doing my homework and cannot quite get this question, it seems familiar but no matter how hard i try i am always assuming some vairable incorrectly (Headbang)
But that is all okay because i have found this forum.
Okay here goes...

I inserted a picture i think

It is an isosceles triangle with a hypotenuse of 10m, and inside the triangle there is a 1m square positioned on the right angle (bottom left corner) the squares top right hand corner touches the hypotenuse. solve for side A

I can't see a picture. Also, isosceles triangles do not have hypotenuses.
