I read this as 3y's and 1x are equal?


x/y=3/1, when x = 3 then y = 1?

yes

but for graphing purposes and just in general we would rearrange this to y= x/3

x/y=3/1, when x = 3 then y = 1?

what that means is the x/y = 3 so basically any value of x/y that gives 3
and those values can be
x=6 and y=2
or x=3 and y=1
