How to solve this simple equation?
Hi,

I forgot the basic rules of how to solve this equation.
I know that x = 26

How would we solve this?

25.1 = 2250 + x * 10

1. I assume that you want to solve for x:

$25.1 = \frac{2250+x \cdot 10}{100}$

2. Multiply both sides by 100 to get rid of the denominator. You should get:

$2510 = 2250 + 10x$

Solve for x.

Ofcourse you are right :)

Then:

2510 - 2250 = 10x
x = 260 /10
x = 26
