Well it shames me to say, I thin I am having an off day, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do this simple operation.

Here is the question:

3/x ÷ 4/5

The problem I am having is I cannot solve for x.

The answer to 3/x is 3/4.

Help would be appreciated.

when dividing by a fractionyou multiply by its reciprocal

3/x*5/4 =3/4
cross multiply 60=12x x=5
