is this what you mean ...

$5 - \frac{x-1}{2} \le -3x + 2$

I suppose you mean "Find all the values of x that satisfy the inequality 5-(x-1) =< -3x+2" (were =< means "less or equal")

We then have
$\newline 5-(x-1) \leqslant -3x+2 \newline 5-x+1 \leqslant -3x+2 \newline x \leqslant -2$

Or if you mean
$\newline 5-\frac{x-1}{2} \leqslant -3x+2 \newline \newline 10-(x-1) \leqslant -6x+4 \newline \newline 10-x+1 \leqslant -6x+4 \newline \newline 5x \leqslant -7 \newline \newline x \leqslant \frac{-7}{5}$

I did edit my earlier post. The trick is to multiply the terms on both the sides with 2.
