    Simplify

    Simplify: x^2 + 4x + 4 / x^2 - x - 6

    Thanks in advance. I am asking so many questions becasue these are sample questions to help me get prepared for a final. Thanks and sorry so many different questions. Thanks again.

    you are supposed to know how to factor denominator and numerator:

    \frac{x^2+4x+4}{x^2-x-6}=\frac{(x+2)(x+2)}{(x+2)(x-3)}=\frac{x+2}{x-3}, x \neq -2
