What is the patten when skip counting by 3's on a number chart from 1-100?
For 10's it would be that all the numbers end in 0's or that all the numbers are in the rightmost column.
"Skip counting by 3's"? Do you mean "3, 6, 7, 9, .." the red numbers on the chart? Those are all "multiples of 3", they are numbers of the form 3n for some integer n, n from 1 to 33.
Did you look at your chart? "Numbers that end in 0" and "numbers that are in the rightmost column" are exactly the same! They could also be written "10n" for n from 1 to 10.For 10's it would be that all the numbers end in 0's or that all the numbers are in the rightmost column.
yes by skip counting I mean multiples of 3, but what is the pattern as seen on the chart?
And yes I know that "Numbers that end in 0" and "numbers that are in the rightmost column" are exactly the same! Thats why I put it there, for an example, of two possible ways to look at it.
So how would you describe the pattern?
