Thread: Help on a system of equations

Hello to all, I'm having problem solving this simple system:

1) 3X + 4Y = 25
2) X^2 + Y^2 = 25

may someone help me?

Solved it, just few second more of thinking....

3X + 4Y = X^2 + Y^2

X^2 + Y^2 - 4Y - 3X = 0

X(X - 3) + Y(Y - 4) = 0

Thus the solutions are X=3, Y=4
