    Linear Transformation

    Let V = P_2 and let W be the real numbers.Show that the function defined by L(at^2 + bt + c ) = abc is not a linear transformation.

    Hey mastermin346.

    What have you tried? Linearity only has two conditions where f(x+y) = f(x) + f(y) and f(ax) = af(x).
