Ok, I am working with math (grade 10) and I am constantly failing word questions using exponents. The problem: V = 10 000 (.88)^n if n resembles the amount of years, what is V after 5 years three months. I can't tell if n should be a mixed fraction or a whole fraction ? Please tell me how to get V the answerr is supposedly 5111.33
