Long division is correct:

You just divide like any other type of long division. To give you a reference, the answer should be x^3 - 4x^2 + 5x - 2. If you are doing homework, I'm sure your teacher wants all the steps involved. :) - October 3rd 2012, 01:45 PMskeeterRe: factoring
