    how do I write the eq'n of the lines passing through the following two points?

    (3,8) and (-4,7)

    use the slope formula to find the slope between the two points, then use the point-slope form of a linear equation.

    what is the point-slope form?

    I know how to find the slope (m= y2-y1/x2-x1)
