Thread: Brute force failed on this one.. Could you please help?

Hi! I'd like to ask you for help on this one:

"For which integer n is 2n^3 - 3n^2 + n + 3 a prime number?"

Does anyone know? I have already tried the brute force method in c++ but no success .

how about the integer n = 0 ?

Oh god. I'm so stupid. Thank you very very much. It's 11:48PM in my country. This is the last time I do my homework at night. I just forgot 3 is a prime number.. Have a nice day. Bye :-)
