    Inverse of polynomial function

    Does anybody know if there is any method to find the inverse of such a function like f(x)=x^3+px+q. I used an online calculator and it returned

    wich is very complicated. Is there any alghoritm?

    It's unlikely you can get a simpler formula. See Cardano's formula.
