area or mass of a cylinder is pi x radius^2

density= mass x volume

But how to use the two radii. shoule radius used be 6cm+5cm=11cm ? - August 22nd 2012, 06:37 AMemakarovRe: Mass of Cylinder
To find the area of the cross section, subtract the area of the smaller circle from that of the larger circle.
