My sons math teacher quit in the middle of the school year last year. Which left substitutes in and out for the remainder of the year...they were all over the place and if you werent a math wiz then you didnt have a chance. They offered an online course for kids who had trouble and didnt pass (70% which should have been a big red flag in the first place).

The major problem is..a lot of the problems in the "online course" werent even covered in the regular class or were barely grazed over and with different subs all the time they all taught differently and skipped all over the place. So if you fell behind at all..you were DONE!

This course gives you a quiz after each section. You have 3 chances to pass the quiz or you fail the entire course. We are on our 3rd attempt and getting a 70% each time..you need an 80% to pass the course. We are stuck.

Its heartbreaking to see your kid struggle and you cant help them because you yourself dont understand it and theres nothing you can do. There are 10 questions we need help with. ...I am posting the ones that we need help with here...
