What is the question exactly?

And what is your equation meant to be, use brackets:

$x-\frac{3}{6}+3=a$

$\frac{x-3}{6+3}=a$

That's probably correct... $\frac{x-3}{6+3} = a$ seems like a stupid question. Of course, 6+3 = 9, right?

4. ## Re: x-3/6+3=a

I think it will be solved like this,
=>x-(3/6)+3
=>(x/1)-(1/2)+(3/1)
=>(2x-1+6)/2
=>(2x+5)/2
what is mathematical induction
