Thread: Schedule and availability

I've been messing around with some new concepts I learned in Algebra.

It'd go something like this:

I want to work 20≤x≤30 hours per week.

I can work anytime between 7:30AM and 4:30PM

Monday through Thursday only.

BUT

I have classes on

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
8:00a to 9:15a
9:30a to 10:45a
11:00a to 12:15p

How would I go about making a system of equations based on the information provided.

If you have classes till 12.15PM each day, why do you say you can work from 7:30AM ?

Btw, you're presenting a scheduling problem, not a math inequality problem...

Because technically I can work from 7:30a to 8:00a

I want to express this scheduling problem in form of equations.
