F=UV/U+V

It seems easy but i am really struggling!!

Re: i cant figure out how to transpose this equation can any one help???? please
$F = \frac{UV}{U+V}$

Multiply both sides by (U + V)

$F(U+V) = UV$

Expand

$FU + FV = UV$

Subtract FV from both sides

$FU = UV - FV$

Factor out the 'V'

$FU = V(U - F)$

Divide both sides by (U - F) to get 'V' on its own

$\frac{FU}{U - F} = V$
