Is this
$\frac{3 - x}{x - 2} = 1 - \frac{2x - 5}{x + 2}$

Note that you can get rid of the fractions if you multiply both sides by $(x + 2)(x - 2)$:
$(x + 2)(x - 2) \left ( \frac{3 - x}{x - 2} \right ) =(x + 2)(x - 2) \left ( 1 - \frac{2x - 5}{x + 2} \right )$

$(x + 2)(3 - x) = (x + 2)(x - 2) - (x - 2)(2x - 5)$

Can you do it from here?
