Thread: PMI vs Well-Ordering Principle

I have always found the equivalence between PMI( and the strong form of PMI) and the Well-Ordering Principle a bit confusing. Any help in this regard would be appreciated. (PS: Please don't provide links to the top google searches - I've been there. I need a more lucid explanation).
