    Gradient of a line

    Having a bit of trouble, struggling to work out gradient of these lines

    a) y = 2x + 3
    b) a = -3b + 6
    c) k = -l + 12
    d) p = 2q - 8

    Just rearrange into the form y=mx+c. Then the gradient is the "x" coefficient.

    a) 2
    b) -3
    c) -1
    d) 2
