Solid Waste study

Hello forum,

I'm doing a project in which I'm using visual map information to show sectors of an area which produce more waste because of their financial status.

I don't really know how to correctly explain this in a mathematical way, please bear with me.

When I made a map about all of these sectors about 49 or so, using density dots to show how much solid waste they produce.
Poor sectors with high populations are of course producing more solid waste per Month.
Though when I normalized the solid waste per month/ population, I found the wealthy cities in relation to their population are producing more solid waste per month per person.

Would the correct term of this be Solid waste per month per capita?
Also does my analysis make sense?
