Five times a number is the same as the number added to five. What is the number?
OK, so 5X=X+5
X=(X+5)/5
I know the answer is 5/4, but that took a lot of time- consuming trial and error on my part; is there a way to see through this more quickly?

Oh for crying out loud...I must be tired; they don't get any easier than that.
Thanks!
