    Solving

    Hey i got a questions, im not sure how to solve the following equation for 't'. How would i do it?

    2.4 = sqrt(2.1^2 + (0.049*t^2)^2)

    First square:

    <br /> <br />
2.4^2 = 2.1^2 + 0.049^2 t^4<br />

    so:

    <br />
t^4=\frac{2.4^2-2.1^2}{0.049^2}<br />

    Now find the fourth roots of the rigt hand side and check to see which solve
    the original equation.
