Thread: expand and simlplfy

sorry to a pain but i have got stuck on a simple question

I have 4(x-1)-2(2x+3) and I have expanded too get 4x-4 -4x-6.

I have got stuck on simplyfying the above

combine like terms ...

4x - 4x = 0

-4 - 6 = -10

so, 4x - 4 -4x - 6 = -10
