What are the value of the mean, standard deviation and variance if you remove the unusual value?

My question is What is meant by the term "Unusual Value"

A sample survey of 10 students was asked how far they travelled to university each day. The Distances were (in KM's)

2,8,4,13,3,11,2,31,2,9

The unusual value is 31km, as it is so much larger than the others. In fact
if you ompute the mean and SD including it is is more than 2.5 SD from the
mean.

Also if you exclude the exceptional value from the sample you will find
that it is more than 5 SD's from the mean of the remaining sample.
