    Different Variables & Exponents Factoring

I thought I was understanding the process but now I am stuck because there are different exponents.

    Factor completely:

    100x4+49y2

How do I handle the different exponents and different variables?

First, look for common factors. There aren't any.

Then decide if it's possible to factorise using trinomial methods or difference of two squares. It's not possible.

    It doesn't factorise.

Ok thank you! I had a feeling it may have been prime but I just wanted to verify that I wasn't missing something.
