Thread: Rearrange by cross multiplication

Can anyone show me how to rearrange this formula for T by cross multiplication (or other means)

Rearranging/renaming terms (too bulky for me!):
F = [Ac + b(Wd - U - Ve + Tf)] / (We + Vd + Tg)

Cross multiply (means F * denominator = numerator):
FWe + FVd + TFg = Ac + b(Wd - U - Ve + Tf)

Expand right side:
FWe + FVd + TFg = Ac + Wbd - Ub - Vbe + Tbf

Bring T's together:
TFg - Tbf = Ac + Wbd - Ub - Vbe - FWe - FVd

Factor left side:
T(Fg - bf) = Ac + Wbd - Ub - Vbe - FWe - FVd

Wrap up:
T = (Ac + Wbd - Ub - Vbe - FWe - FVd) / (Fg - bf)
