# Math Help - Simplifying Radicals

Hello, could any one here give me a step by step on how to solve this problem?

sqrt( 4x^2 + 8x + 4 )

I know the answer is 2x+2, I just don't know how to do it.

nvm, i figured it out. it was just like solving the problem without the square root. stupid me lol.

Ah ok much clear explanation. Thank you very much!

Another problem i need help with

f(x)=3√(2x-6)

not sure if that's how i write the 3 part lol.

Is this \displaystyle \begin{align*} \sqrt[3]{2x-6} \end{align*}? If so, it doesn't simplify...
