How would I go about doing this one:
Find XY if WX = 1/3(XY)
No big deal here:
$\displaystyle WX = x + 2$, $\displaystyle XY = 5x + 2$
since $\displaystyle WX = \frac 13 XY$, we have:
$\displaystyle x + 2 = \frac 13 (5x + 2)$
now solve for $\displaystyle x$, and plug that value into the formula for $\displaystyle XY$ to find its length
