Here' are the algebra problems.
Also PLEASE if someone can tell me what algebra questions to expect on the Californian GED tests, it would be a great help to me to know what to expect and to understand these problems from top to bottom.
Link me to video tutorials or whatever to help me learn these, I used to have trouble with 2 x +3x though because I wasn't sure if I had to multiply or add it.
But on the video tutorial I saw i had to add 2x +3x to get 5x
and then it sort of went in a pattern like if they were the same you would have to multiply, 2x +2x would be multiplied to 4x
well for the 1st one my best friend, nina told me to get a piece of graph paper and number it and then like thats how you find the common number between the two, I don't know if that's right cause she's in 9th grade and I'm here taking my GED test & I'm 21 so like maybe it's wrong but idk
I was in special ED.
I don't know how to do the rest of the problems.
I didn't say to tell me 2+2 is 4 i told you to describe why i have to do something because I'm stuck, I never learned any of this stuff before, every time I open a math book my brain hurts cause i totally don't understand anything what they describe so you have to do it in a more descriptive manner.
My husband thinks im autistic because of how descriptive people need to be to me.
Do you know what a factor is? A pair of factors are two numbers that multiply together to give you the number you are given. For example, the factors of 24 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24, since 1 x 24 = 24, 2 x 12 = 24, 3 x 8 = 24 and 4 x 6 = 24.
What are the factors of 792? What are the factors of 2520? Which of these is the largest that is a factor of both?
Ohh wow i didn't even think of that. Yeah I know what a factor is
What are the factors of 792? What are the factors of 2520? Which of these is the largest that is a factor of both
so these are the factors of 792 since
1x 792=792, 2x__=792 and 3x__ =792 and so on?
But I would need a calculator for this. this numbers way too big.
Do you know if the GED lets you use calculators. from what im aware of they take it away for part of it.
I still don't know the rest of the problems & I think they may come up on the test.
Yes this is basically how you find the factors. I don't know if the GED allows calculators, I'm from Australia, I don't even know what the GED is... But I'd suggest using one for the moment (the important thing is to know what factors are, to be able to find the factors, and to be able to compare the factors of the two numbers). I'd say they wouldn't mind if you use a calculator to help.

Thank's What about this one?
Alice, you are unaware of the basics (not your fault, of course),
so need "classroom/teacher" environment to get anywhere...
It's a bit like you helping out at a cooking help site, and Marlene
asked how to cook a turkey, you answered: "first, turn on oven",
then Marlene asked "what's an oven"? See what I mean?
