    determine the 100th term of the sequence.

    The sequence can be written as x_{n}= \frac{n}{a_{n}} where a_{n} is the solution of the difference equation...

    a_{n+1}= a_{n}+3 ,\ a_{1}=2 (1)

    ... that is a_{n}= 3n-1, so that is...

    x_{n}= \frac{n}{3n-1} (2)

    At this point You have to insert in (2) n=100...
