Thread: Converting 100M Sprint Time in to 150 or 200M time

Hi I am trying or wondering,if there is a way I could convert a 100M Sprint time into a 150M Sprint time. One way I thought and am seeking to see if its right is getting the average 10M time and then adding that onto the 100M 5times? I'm not trying to get the exact time more of a average.

If it takes 10 seconds to run 100m that doesn't mean it would take 15 seconds to run 150m.

For example the current world record for 100m is around 9 and a hlaf seconds where as the 400m record is around 44 seconds.

If you are after something very rough then the described method you are using can be used as a rough giude.
