How to solve the following equation

5^(2x) - 5^(x+3) + 125 = 5^x

This problem has been given under quadratic.

$5^{2x} - 5^{x+3} + 125 = 5^x \Rightarrow 5^{2x} - 5^{x+3} + 125 - 5^x = 0$
note that $5^{x+3} = 5^x \cdot 5^3$
or you can let $y = 5^x$ and see what happened
