I don't know what the deal is. Im telling you, there is a glitch going on for me. No worries tho thanks a lot for your help.

I have multiple pages of just sentences that I want to convert. Is there a better way than putting a '\' between every word?

Nope. and \\ is how you to a newline. You might be able to type it all in worpad, and use find and replace to replace all spaces with \space. Though i'm not sure find and replace will work with a space.
