Hey forum, this is a puzzle from my Algebra 2 books practice section, I can't figure any of the five parts out at all! please help:
In each problem, you may use only the 5 digits, along with the symbols + – × ÷ ( ) as necessary, to make an expression equal to 2011. No other symbols are allowed, but numbers may be used as exponents.
For example, for the set 4, 5, 7, 7, 8, the answer would be 7^4 – 5 × 78 = 2011.
A. 1, 2, 3, 5, 8
B. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6
C. 1, 3, 4, 8, 9
