Thread: Simultaneous Equation

So I've been having trouble with SEs, this one in particular:

d = 120t + 80
d = -480t + 800

How would you go about solving this one? Please say your working - it helps me learn

Why not subtract one equation from the other?

Ackbeet is correct, or just say

120t + 80 = -480t + 800

Lol wow! It seems so simple when you do it like that... i should have known that they both equal d.
