Dif. between analytical solution, mathematical derivation and analytical formulation?
Hi, I'm doing an assignment and I just want to know the difference between an analytical solution, a mathematical derivation and an analytical formulation.

Thanks

An analytical solution is a closed form exact solution expressed in terms of known operations and functions.

A mathematical derivation is a mathematical argument proceeding from the known to a result.

An analytic formulation is (I presume) a problem translated into mathematical language.
