    calculating value from exponent

    hi, if there is an expression :
      x^{c*x+1}=y
    and if we know the values of c and y , then how can we calculate x ?

    no simple algebraic manipulation will allow you to solve for x ... you'll need to use technology to calculate the value of x for given values of c and y
