Question: Expand and simplify $5-(2-x)^2$

Ok, I know the first step is to do change the negative thingy but I don't know how to. It doesn't seems to make sense to me, can someone share their first step on solving this problem? It's frustrating.........

No it is not. First, expand.
$5-(4-4x+x^2)$
