Hey everyone. I've just started A-level maths and I'm a bit stuck on Quadratic Functions. Wondered if anyone could help me.
The question I dont get is:

Expand and simplify the function:

y=7+(3x+1)²

Thanks

To expand $(3x+1)^2$, use the (important) special product $(a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2$ and afterwards simplify.
