cant get my head round equations
eg 8-4(x-1)=2+3x
how do I go about it
how to find radius of base of cone 250cm3, ht 20cm.cant get brain in gear
do you know how to expand brackets? expand - 4(x - 1) then try to get the x on one side of the equation
recall that:how to find radius of base of cone 250cm3, ht 20cm.cant get brain in gear
$\displaystyle V = \frac {1}{3} \pi r^2 h$
you are given $\displaystyle V = 250$, $\displaystyle h = 20$ so just plug those in and solve for $\displaystyle r$
try them. if you have problems, say so
