Gradient of each side of a quadrilateral
Hi,
I need to find the gradient of each side of of a quadrilateral which has vertices at the points A(-7,0), B(2,3), C(5,0) and D(-1,-6).
I have drawn the quadrilateral but I don't know how I would find the gradient of each side of the quadrilateral. This is where I require some help please!

Thanks!

$m = \frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x} = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}$

... use the slope formula above for each side.

So would the side AB=3-0/2--7=3/9?

yes, 3/9 = 1/3
