Help on solving a simple? algebra formula
It's been some time since I did this kind of work, and need some refreshment on the topic. Here is my formula (after I partly solved it):
0.144a = X + 0.020304X
I want X split out (X = ...), and don't remember how to do it when I have two parts with X in it.
Thanks for any help on the subject.
Kind regards, Atle

You can group the like terms on the right hand side, I.e. X+0.020304X= 1.020304X
Then divide both sides By 1.020304

Ups, pretty stupid of me not remembering that part :p It's pretty obvious that X is the same as 1X. Anyway, thanks for helping me out. Maybe a good idea to refresh my math skills :)
