Simplifying
2x^1/2 = 6y^2
2x = (6y^6)^2
2x = 36y^12
My math teacher simplified it to x = 18y^12
Can you clarify?
Sorry about that, I had to edit my post. See this thread if you're interested in learning to write in LaTex.
You can use LaTeX tags
[tex]\sqrt{2x}=6y^2 [/tex] gives $\displaystyle \sqrt{2x}=6y^2$
